Bathhouse
Following on from the previous set of retrieved ancient photographs, here are some taken in derelict swimming baths off Essex Road back in 1986. The baths were demolished shortly after I visited, though some of the cast iron buttresses were put up in a small park in the redevelopment -- you can see them on Street View from Greenman Street.
Some of the photos are frustratingly not good, and time has taken its toll a bit too. But anyway, a fuller gallery can be found here.
If I don't see you before -- which, let's face it, is pretty likely -- have a merry Xmas or whatever other orbital geometry festival you celebrate. Mwah.
